By age and goal: puppies under 6 months start in Puppy Preschool; dogs 6 months and up belong in Pet Dog Prep, including rescues and reactive dogs; Pet Dog Prep graduates continue to PhD Pups; and families pursuing a working service dog enter the Service Dog Program through its free selection consultation. Yes. Plans are custom, so if your goals grow — say Pet Dog Prep goes so well you set your sights on therapy work — your trainer adjusts the path with you. Nothing you've learned is ever wasted; each program builds on the last.
No — enrollment is rolling because every program is taught 1:1. You start when you're ready and schedule sessions around your life, not around a group class calendar. That flexibility is one of the biggest perks of the virtual model.
Because a four-month-old Lab with potty training goals and a five-year-old rescue with leash issues need genuinely different plans. We build the plan first — free — and quote it clearly before you pay anything. PhD Pups ($500) and the Service Dog Program steps are fixed-price because their scope is fixed.
Our programs are structured because that's what produces results that last — a single session rarely changes a dog's behavior. Start with the free mini session; if a short engagement genuinely fits your situation, your trainer will say so when scoping your plan.
