What exactly is Leash & Teach?
We're a virtual dog training company founded by former PK–12 educators who combined classroom teaching methods with dog training expertise. Every session is a live, one-on-one video lesson — we teach you to train your dog, in the home where the training actually needs to work.
How is this different from an online dog training course?
Completely. Online courses are pre-recorded videos — nobody watches your dog, nobody catches your timing mistakes, nobody adjusts when your dog does something the video didn't predict. Every Leash & Teach session is a live teacher watching you and your dog in real time, guiding you as it happens. It's the difference between watching a cooking show and having a chef in your kitchen.
What do I get in the free mini training session?
A real session, not a sales call: you'll meet your teacher over video, talk through your dog and your goals, and pick up foundational training tips tailored to your dog. You leave with something useful either way — enrolling afterward is entirely up to you.
Do you offer in-person training too?
No — virtual is our whole model, on purpose. It keeps scheduling flexible for busy families, lets your dog learn in their real environment instead of a training facility, and gives you access to our teacher-trainers no matter where in the U.S. you live.
Where is Leash & Teach located?
Everywhere you are. Our trainers work with dogs and their families across the United States over live video — all you need is a phone, tablet or computer with a camera and an internet connection.
